3 ladies showed up today in leather jackets and almost the same lipstick. They sat together in a corner and talked about the most random things. It's leather jacket season. So everything is pumpkin-spiced and almost scary enough for the children. Halloween, baby! Yet, my costume never scared any one of them. They asked me to sit with them. And as with all good story-tellers, I kept them all laughing and thinking for close to two hours. We discussed topics from all over the place and I understood first, why they were talking about the most random things when they arrived. Sometimes the fall season also rises you up. It's only the dying leaves that fall to the wind's seductive intrigues. And they go with it, wherever it chooses to take them. The branches obviously remain. To live and to fight again another day, another season. The roots adapt and the soil embraces them firmly. This is why we have family. To protect a love and the meaning of life. So seek a family and share with them the good and help each other through the bad. Be caring enough and never too naive. Be the light in the darkness even for yourself. We are here too many of us but some choose to ignore the tides. So I'll let you breathe, even if softly. The leather pants you're wearing have defined your curves and the edges on your whole system have put me on edge. But before we even get there, here's a candle to light up the way ahead for you. Just try not to breathe out too hard in its direction, thanks.
